
How Does it Work?
The ONE Application is a simple web-based solution designed with the consumer in mind! By streamlining the paperwork process for multiple agencies, hundreds of thousands of dollars can be saved by minimizing administrative costs. The ONE Application helps families find and apply for government services by incorporating a screening and questionnaire process:
- The client visits your state’s web site (powered by The ONE Application).
- They begin by creating an account to enter basic information about their family.
- A brief series of screening questions that are unique for each agency's requirements helps determine possible eligibility.
- Based on the results of the screening, The ONE Application indicates those services for which the client’s family is most likely eligible.
- The client then answers the necessary questions to complete the remaining questions for the services they are applying for -- and no question is asked more than once!
- At the end of the question process, the client electronically signs the application(s) which are then sent electronically to the local offices of the programs for which they are applying.
- Intake workers from participating agencies log into The ONE Application to retrieve and process the submitted applications.
